A day for Thanksgiving, but a year of thankfulness!

A day for Thanksgiving, but a year of thankfulness!

Thankful for the many blessings in my life.
Thankful for the many blessings in my life.

As we celebrate Thanksgiving it is a great time to reflect and say a special thank you to all my clients. I am so grateful for all of you. This year has been amazing. I am blessed with so much.

I wish I had the words to express my deep appreciation to all my clients for the support they have given me this year. What is truly a blessing to me is that my clients start our as business associates, but immediately turn into friends.

The Real Estate business is about building relationships. I truly care about the people who hire me to help them find or sell their home. I hope that you know and can see my love, support and kindness as we go through the process.

My business would not be as successful as it is today with your wonderful referrals. I depend on referrals from you. It means so much and is the best compliment I could receive. A referral to me means you have confidence in me that I will take care of those you recommend including your family and friends.

I couldn’t be who I am today and do what I love doing without the love and support of my family. I am the mother to four amazing children that I love with all my heart. They are so appreciative and caring and make me want to be the best I can be as their mom and as a role model.

My oldest Hunter, 19, has become my real estate assistant this year, my computer guru and technology wiz. As a son, I could not have asked for a more sincere, kind, hardworking and caring man, who simply has a heart of gold. I am so proud and thankful for the man he has become. He has used his hardships in life to grow and develop and become a man of fortitude, strength and perseverance.

My daughter Victoria, 16, is one of the hardest working young women I know. I am so impressed with her ability to balance her college, work schedule, swim team and physical fitness, chores and still finds time to braid her sister’s hair.  I am so thankful for her listening ear and caring heart and of course her Netflix recommendations.

My daughter Elizabeth, 13, is the sweetest girl I know. I love how her confidence grew as did her height this past year. I can’t believe she is no longer my little girl at 5’10”. She is both physically and inwardly strong. Her heart is kind and tender. She encompasses what a true woman is. I look forward every morning to our bible studies on the way school and our sushi date nights. I am so thankful for her encouragement and heart of appreciation.

My baby Lily, 10, and is simply a bundle of fun in our family. I am thankful that she can make me smile everyday with her bubbly personality, independence and pure joy that shines from her. There is only one Lily who can touch everyone’s heart she meets.

I love Thanksgiving because it makes me reflect on my life and know what matters most and puts everything into perspective.  What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? I would love to know. Leave me a comment.

World Kindness Day!

World Kindness Day!

November 13th is World Kindness Day, a day when people should do intentional acts of kindness for others. My 10 year-old daughter, Lily started doing random acts of kindness after Christmas last year, when I challenged her and her brother and sisters to give the money I gave them for Christmas to others.

Lily Uline, Make Kindness Count Ambassador

My daughter saw the impact it made on other people’s lives and the happiness that her small act of kindness had on them and it showed her how important random acts of kindness can be.

On her 10th birthday, Lily came up with the idea “Make Kindness Count” and started doing random acts of kindness for people and handing them a card to do a random act of kindness to someone else.

Lily says she’s a happiness ambassador and wants to change the world and would like to encourage others no matter what your age is to participate.

Lily has been telling and showing others on her Facebook page www.facebook.com/makekindnesscount different ways people can do random acts of kindness. She says it can be anything from a thank you letter, spending time with someone or helping someone with chores.

I am so proud of Lily for taking this wanting to help others. She is also helping nonprofits in the community by promoting their organizations in raising awareness for their needs.

She promoted the Mattie Williams Neighborhood Family Center in Safety Harbor in a Facebook video encouraging people to bring in donations to their organization.

Her impact of kids is very encouraging.  I love to see kids post about their random acts of kindness they are doing.

Take a minute and let me know what your random act of kindness was today for World Kindness Day or if you received a random act of kindness today..
